About Kayla

I once thought life was utterly hopeless. Then I met Jesus. He met me in the middle of a lot of pain and showed me overwhelming love and grace.

My journey with him has taken me places that I never expected. The journey has included a lovely, small, Christian university in South Dakota and parts of the greater world. I didn't expect to be a "missionary," but I spent a year sharing the gospel with students at a university campus in Kumasi, Ghana followed by a year of ministry in Eastern Europe. I returned to South Dakota with no long-term plan, just a lot of dreams.

I don't know where my life is headed, but I do know that the journey with Jesus will continue, and it will be well worth it.

Even though I know Jesus, my life isn't perfect. It's messy. But it's good - not because I'm good, but because God's good.
